Attached memories

There are, for sure, a lot of simple things that you come a cross on a daily basis which remind you of some pleasant memories. Yes, unpleasant ones never happen like that, at least according to my experience. Smell of a sharped red pencil, a cracked transparent glass of the window, a continues water drop sound in the kitchen, a rock music heard from someone’s headphone in the bus, a colorful scarf of an old woman sitting in the park, you name it. For me, all these and simply thousands of others, bring a joyful moment repeating every other second. We are pretty lucky that our brain prefers to keep the happy memories not the sad ones handy in the case of encountering such occasions. Here is a picture taken from light bulb decorated trees in front of M-20 building at NRC, looking at which I remember the extremely wonderful first weeks of starting my research in this heaven passing by those trees everynight on a snowcovered ground while listening to Homayoun Kazemi's album of Moini Kermanshahi's poems :)
