Lady Butterfly
May I hold you on my handsGive a room, a space as large all the lands
Tell you untold stories of the past
Were you in the egg, had no idea of things at last
You are tired, I know
Need a friend, food, or a place to grow
Are you like the others?
Those who stayed for a while and left their mothers
I have their faces hanged in my mind, clear and clean
For a chance if they ever return and make my life green
OK, that is enough for today
Take a coffee, grab a chair, no need to pay
Tomorrow when you leave, for sure I'll cry
Can not forget, thousand times I try
