Happy Birthday

A year ago, in a day like this I found myself in the blog world. It is interesting how I became a blogger. Before that I had no interest in reading weblogs nor in writing my personal stuff on the web.

Marjann, a very good friend of mine in Iran, had a weblog for one of her courses at school. I enjoyed reading one of her posts after she sent me the link to that weblog, about which I wanted to put a comment. But, the commenting had been limited to blogger members. It was then when I registered an account and few days later posted my first entry on names.

'Names' was just one of many confusions I was struggling with at that time. I then realized how powerful is a weblog and how freely one is able to share her/his thoughts, concerns and experiences with others.

In the first few months aalisworld was not being updated regularly. But, when I found that a couple of people were visiting me, I decided to update on my views more often. It was a good feeling to see that I am able to discuss and suggest ideas that are important in my opinion and get a response from others.

Blogging even became a part of my daily life in some occasions. Things that were hard to tell directly, were much easier to publish. Sometimes, a single picture had many points to convey to its viewer. Poems that are developed in a very emotional period are now somehow kind of a talent in me. I made many friends whom I have not met at all. Bloggers who kindly connect their world to mine. Those who are inspiring me to continue.

I could not post anything in last few weeks due to many reasons which is by its own a form of bloggy life; being upset and getting sick.
