Dream

It was one of these cold days in the fall when you feel you just want to stay at home in the bed and don't go to work. I had no other choice unfortunately. "I can not even open my eyes!" I tried to find an excuse like that. Last night was such a nightmare. The pain of this little stone in my right kidney PLUS the fish that had been stayed in my stomach and could not be digested. Have you been in these situations when you can not sleep because you are too tired? Add this to that whole pain and feeling of vomiting. Oh God!

I was at least alive! believe me, thinking of this important simple fact helped me go easily through the situation. I imagined worse conditions that could have occurred to me. I can breath, I can walk, I can move my hand, I can talk, I can see!

I called in sick that day. The stone passed through and the fish was digested. I slept the whole day. I am alive ...
