Mamak Khadem's performance in Ottawa (September 22, 2007) was extraordinary. Purely from the heart of the individual memebrs of the group, we were blessed by a mixture of Armenian, Greek and Persian melodies with poems of Molana Rumi and others. It was one of my most memorable exposures to music. Her album, Jostojoo, is just a masterpiece although might not be able to convey the true impression of the atmosphere of a live one.
